Lee Greenfield
Major, USA
I have known John Wega for 20 years. During this time, he has been the consummate leader in connecting various people from very different backgrounds for the common good. He and his wife, Susan, have been an integrative, durable part of the Gettysburg community, while his sons continue to serve other PA communities in law enforcement. John knows the people of Gettysburg and Adams County well. Just as he has faithfully served our communities the past several years as a deputy sheriff, he will be an excellent sheriff, keeping our communities safe and prosperous for all who make Adams County their home.

Having spent over four decades in the military and working with federal agencies at all levels, I heartily endorse John Wega for the Adams County Sheriff.
I’ve personally worked with John in training others to be leaders, protectors, and great advocates for the men and women they influence and guide. John is a personal mentor and we engage almost daily to hold one another to the highest standards of excellence and integrity.
John walks the walk, motivating all to dig deep physically, mentally and spiritually , emphasizing discipline in all facets of our lives. John brings that intense focus into all the groups I’ve seen him lead and motivate. It’s one thing to fire people up; John stokes that and builds others up to stay sharp and execute the mundane and also the most dangerous tasks with care and great detail.
The most important characteristic John exhibits is love for those he encounters on a daily basis; no one walks away from John without being impacted by his level of care and follow through.
I whole heartedly endorse John for Adam County Sheriff. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at normanbalchunas@yahoo.com

James Muller
Sheriff of Adams County
To the citizens of Adams County,
It is my humble opinion that whoever wants to take over as your Sheriff should have the full understanding of the the operations of the Office as well as experience working in the Office. Because of that, I ENDORSE my Operations Lieutenant, John Wega, to be the next Sheriff of Adams County. For approximately 12 years he has held the position of Deputy, Corporal, Sergeant, and Operations Lieutenant. He can hit the ground running and lead the Office on the first day if elected. He will serve the citizens of this county with Honor & Dignity.
